Why This Book?

A Journey of Healing, Imperfection, and Inner Strength.

The Struggle

Maybe you've made mistakes. Maybe life has left you with scars. Maybe you love God but still struggle with parts of yourself that make you feel unqualified.

The Purpose

I wrote this book because I know that feeling. (un)Fit is an honest conversation about brokenness, grace, and a God who uses the very things we try to hide.

The Promise

Your weaknesses don't automatically cancel your calling. Your worst chapters can become the very place purpose begins.

About The Author

J.F. Hughes Jr. is an author, pastor, entrepreneur, and emerging voice passionate about helping people discover purpose beyond their imperfections. He serves as a Campus Pastor at Empowerment Worship Centre in Ghana and is a son of Gideon Danso, Global Lead Pastor of Empowerment Worship Centre. His ministry is centered on raising people, shaping destinies, and communicating the transforming power of God’s grace.

His debut book, (un)Fit, was born from a deeply personal conviction: that brokenness does not disqualify anyone from being used by God. Through his writing and ministry, Jeffrey challenges people to move beyond the pressure of perfection and embrace a life shaped by purpose, faith, and the faithfulness of God.

His message is simple: you don’t have to be perfect to be purposeful.

"God has always taken pleasure in using broken people, not to shame them, but to reveal His grace. Jeffrey’s life is another reminder that God is not looking for perfection—He is looking for yielded hearts."
